A V12 sports prototype
The Daytona SP3 puts Ferrari's 840 cv naturally aspirated V12 behind the cabin in a carbon structure without hybrid assistance. The series has 599 client cars; a separate 599+1 charity car sits outside the allocation.

Overview
At the 1967 24 Hours of Daytona, Ferrari's 330 P3/4, 330 P4 and 412 P crossed the line first, second and third. The SP3 uses that result as its name and the mid-engined prototypes as its formal reference.
The planned run was 599. Ferrari later added a single Tailor Made 599+1 chassis for a Monterey charity auction, keeping the client allocation distinct.
