Overview
The Daytona's successor changed the layout, not the cylinder count.
Ferrari showed the 365 GT4 BB at Turin in 1971 and began production in 1973. Pininfarina's low wedge used steel bodywork with aluminium opening panels over a tubular structure.
The 512 BB arrived at Paris in 1976 with a five-litre engine. Fuel injection produced the final 512 BBi in 1981; the Testarossa replaced the family in 1984.
