Monza SP1

One seat, no screen

The SP1 deletes the passenger position as well as the roof and windscreen. Its 812 Superfast-based V12 is familiar; the single-seat carbon body and exposed driving position are not.

Overview

The first Icona programme, in its single-seat form.

Ferrari unveiled the Monza SP1 and SP2 at Maranello in September 2018. Both refer to the open sports racers of the 1950s while using the contemporary 812 Superfast powertrain.

Ferrari announced no more than 499 Monzas across the two configurations. It has not published a reliable split between SP1 and SP2 production.
