The house
Kevin Czinger founded Divergent Technologies in 2014 after co-founding the short-lived EV maker Coda. In 2015, Divergent showed the Blade: its spaceframe used 3D-printed metal nodes joined by carbon-fibre tubes, and its inline seating anticipated the 21C. Czinger Vehicles was established by Kevin and Lukas Czinger in 2019.
The 21C is a Los Angeles-built, fully homologated hybrid hypercar. Its carbon-fibre monocoque is joined to additively manufactured structures; Czinger describes an in-house 2.88-litre twin-turbo V8, an 800-volt hybrid system and 1,250 hp combined output. The driver sits on the centreline with the passenger directly behind.
The 2021 Laguna Seca 1:25.44 was set by pre-production prototype VP1.2, not a production car. Czinger’s current HDF history lists later Laguna Seca records of 1:24.75 in August 2024 and 1:22.30 on 9 December 2025; Road & Track reports that Racelogic verified the latter in a letter it viewed.
Production figures require care. A November 2025 Czinger Dallas release described a V Max as chassis number 32 of a globally limited 80-unit run, while Czinger’s 14 August 2026 factory release limits the newly unveiled 21C Spyder to 30 examples; neither source explains how those figures relate. Czinger is trading as of 15 August 2026, and its current release identifies Lukas Czinger as Founder & CEO.

What defines Czinger
Czinger uses software-led topology optimisation and additive manufacture for structural parts, then joins components with structural adhesive rather than conventional fixture-based welding.
The BioLogic chassis combines the carbon-fibre monocoque with additively manufactured structures developed with Divergent Technologies’ processes.
The central inline seating arrangement places the passenger behind the driver, reducing frontal area and centralising mass.
