360 Challenge Stradale
The road car stripped
The Challenge Stradale established Ferrari's modern special-series V8 formula. It removed 110 kg from the 360 Modena, added carbon-ceramic brakes and made the paddle gearbox part of the point rather than a convenience.

Overview
The first road car in Ferrari's V8 special-series line.
Ferrari introduced the Challenge Stradale in 2003 after a decade of one-make Challenge racing. The car sat beside the Modena rather than replacing it.
Its template continued through the 430 Scuderia, 458 Speciale and 488 Pista: less mass, faster shifts, stronger brakes and a chassis calibrated around track use.
