F430 Scuderia

Faster shifts, less mass

The 430 Scuderia took the Challenge Stradale formula and added a joined-up electronic chassis. F1-Trac, E-Diff2 and the SuperFast2 gearbox made 510 cv usable while 100 kg came out of the standard F430 package.

Overview

Ferrari's second modern V8 special series.

Ferrari presented the 430 Scuderia at Frankfurt in 2007. Michael Schumacher spent development time in the car, including chassis work at the Nürburgring.

The open Scuderia Spider 16M followed in 2008 to mark Ferrari's 16th Formula 1 Constructors' Championship. It is a related limited model, not part of the coupé production total.
