The strongest production 911 of its day.
Porsche revealed the type 991 GT2 RS at Goodwood in 2017. It combined a larger-turbo version of the Turbo S engine with rear-wheel drive, PDK and the wide GT body.
A 6:47.3 Nürburgring lap established the launch narrative. For collectors the durable distinction is specification: Weissach hardware, magnesium wheels and an original paint-to-sample build carry more weight than the lap time.
