Essenza SCV12

A V12 without plates

The Essenza SCV12 is a forty-car circuit programme, not a road car. Its collector case rests on a naturally aspirated Lamborghini V12 developed by Squadra Corse, backed by factory storage and arrive-and-drive support.

The Monaco lot was subject to VAT on the full purchase price and restricted to export and trade buyers; that context weighs on the result.

Overview

A customer car built by the racing department

Squadra Corse developed the SCV12 before Lamborghini disclosed the Essenza name in July 2020. Centro Stile drew the three-piece body around racing-prototype aero rather than a road-car package.

The carbon monocoque dispenses with an internal steel cage yet was developed to FIA prototype safety rules. The X-trac gearbox closes the rear of the structure and carries the pushrod suspension.

All 40 buyers entered an owner programme beginning in 2021. Lamborghini offered storage at Sant'Agata, technical support and coaching from drivers including Emanuele Pirro and Marco Mapelli.
