One:1

One horsepower per kilogram

The One:1 matches 1'360 hp to a 1'360 kg curb weight, giving Koenigsegg's megacar label a literal basis. Six customer cars and one factory development car exist, each with active aero, carbon wheels and a 1 MW engine.

Instrument calibration for this file is in progress — the terminal above reads the documented record directly.

The band is an editorial estimate. The known Bonhams result was transacted in CHF and is retained as a source, not rewritten into another currency.

Overview

The Agera reduced to a number

Koenigsegg revealed the One:1 in 2014 after removing roughly 100 kg from the Agera R and raising the twin-turbo V8 to one megawatt. Roof scoop, larger cooling exits, active underbody aero and a top-mounted rear wing made the package visibly separate from the road-biased Agera variants.

The factory quotes an approximate 20 seconds from zero to 400 km/h and about 10 seconds back to rest. A measured 0–300–0 km/h run in July 2015 took 17.95 seconds, improving Koenigsegg's prior Agera R figure by more than three seconds.

Production was six customer cars plus one factory development car. That distinction matters to provenance and explains why contemporary descriptions alternate between six built and seven examples.
