CCR
The Nardò record car
The CCR developed the CC8S far enough to take the production-car speed record at Nardò in February 2005. It reached 388 km/h and only fourteen were built. Public trade is thin: the Geneva reveal car sold for €798'125 in 2021.

Overview
Fourteen cars between first production and global homologation
Koenigsegg presented the CCR at Geneva in 2004. It retained the CC8S carbon structure and roof system but added twin superchargers, larger brakes, larger wheels and more aerodynamic load.
The Nardò run in February 2005 produced a measured 388 km/h. It broke the McLaren F1's standing production-car record before the Bugatti Veyron moved the number again later that year.
Production ended in 2006 after fourteen cars. The following CCX used a longer chassis and a new in-house engine to meet a wider set of emissions and crash requirements.
