CC8S
The first customer Koenigsegg
The CC8S turned Christian von Koenigsegg's eight-year development programme into a customer car. Six were built, two in right-hand drive. For collectors, factory specification and documented continuity outweigh mileage.

Estimate band for good road cars. 0 documented sales since 2019 plotted below.
Band and axis shown in USD. Sale positions use indicative fixed-rate conversion to USD; sale readouts retain recorded currencies. Factory specification, delivery market and documented factory work can move an individual car outside this range.
Instrument calibration for this file is in progress — the terminal above reads the documented record directly.

Overview
Eight years from company to customer car
Christian von Koenigsegg founded the company in 1994. A CC prototype appeared publicly at Cannes in 1997, followed by the CC8S production prototype at the 2000 Paris motor show.
Customer production began in 2002. The carbon structure, removable roof and unusual door mechanism were already resolved; the main work was turning the re-engineered V8 into a compliant, tractable road engine.
Production stopped after six cars in 2003. The CCR retained the core architecture but added twin superchargers, more braking and more aerodynamic load.
