Agera RS

Records in road trim

The Agera RS put One:1-derived active aerodynamics into a 25-car, globally homologated series with a removable roof. In 2017, a customer car averaged 446.97 km/h in opposite directions on a closed Nevada road.

Overview

The road version of the One:1 lesson

Koenigsegg presented the Agera RS at Geneva in March 2015. It combined the prior R and S cars' removable roof and luggage space with aero, suspension and weight-saving work developed for the One:1.

The factory records 25 Agera RS units built from 2015 to 2018. RM Sotheby's described a 27-car broader run when cataloguing one of three Japanese-market RSR derivatives; the available public sources do not reconcile that wider count with the factory's 25-unit figure.

The 2017 Nevada run gave the RS its enduring reference point. The same customer-owned car carried the optional 1 MW engine.
