Agera

The twin-turbo turning point

The base Agera is the seven-car starting point for Koenigsegg's next model line. It replaced the CC cars' superchargers with a 5.0-litre twin-turbo V8, kept the removable roof and introduced ideas later Ageras developed.

Band and axis shown in EUR. Sale positions use indicative fixed-rate conversion to EUR; sale readouts retain recorded currencies. Figures in EUR. The 2025 car carried exposed matt carbon, 20'367 km and a recent specialist service; it is one specification, not a complete market.

Instrument calibration for this file is in progress — the terminal above reads the documented record directly.

The band is editorial. One public sale cannot establish a statistically robust range.

Overview

A clean break inside a familiar outline

Koenigsegg unveiled the Agera at Geneva in March 2010. The new 5.0-litre engine, seven-speed paddle-shift transmission, Ghost Light switchgear and turbine-form wheels moved the company beyond the CC architecture while retaining the carbon tub, dihedral doors and stowable roof.

Koenigsegg groups 30 cars across the Agera, Agera R and Agera S on its model page. RM Sotheby's states that seven were base Ageras before the named R and S variants followed; that narrower figure is used here. The model line continued through the RS and Final editions to 2018.
