Senna GTR
Road rules left behind
The Senna GTR removes the road-car limits without conforming to a racing class. For a collector it is a numbered, factory-built track car with 1'000 kg of claimed downforce and no competition history to untangle.

The prototype and modified Lanzante cars are not treated as like-for-like production comparables.
Overview
The Senna without road-car obligations
McLaren showed the GTR concept at Geneva in March 2018, three months after the road Senna's reveal. The production brief kept the Monocage structure and V8, then widened the chassis and released the aerodynamics from road legislation.
The first development car ran publicly at the 2019 Goodwood Members' Meeting. McLaren limited the customer series to 75; each was sold before production began.
