675LT
Longtail returns to road
The 675LT took the 650S apart, removing 100 kg while adding power, spring rate and downforce. Its longer tail adds only 38 mm of body. McLaren built 500 coupés and 500 Spiders, two related but distinct markets.

Overview
The F1 Longtail name, applied to a series road car
McLaren presented the 675LT coupé at Geneva in 2015. It was the first road car since the F1 programme to use the Longtail suffix, although its development focused as much on mass, aero and response as on physical length.
The M838TL V8 made 675 PS and 700 Nm. McLaren paired it with faster gearbox calibration, P1-derived suspension hardware, carbon-ceramic brakes and a weight programme that brought the lightest coupé to 1'230 kg dry.
The 500 coupés were followed by 500 Spiders. Auction evidence now shows a wide range around the original price, with service history, hydraulic work, carbon options and accident-free body panels setting the spread.
