Huayra

Four flaps shape the air

The Huayra replaced the Zonda's natural aspiration with 1'000 Nm and made four body panels move in real time. Pagani built 100 individually specified base coupés, distinct from the BC, Roadster and later derivatives.

Instrument calibration for this file is in progress — the terminal above reads the documented record directly.

Overview

Eight years from C9 to Huayra

Pagani began the C9 project in 2003 and treated it as a clean-sheet car. Eight years of development produced a longer, wider cabin, the M158 twin-turbo V12 and a road-legal application of the Carbo-Titanium structure first used on the Zonda R.

The Huayra Coupé debuted in 2011. Its name refers to Huayra Tata, a god of wind in Andean Quechua culture; air also supplied the engineering theme, from the four active flaps to the car's deliberately wing-like body.

The 100 base coupés were built from 2011 to 2016. BC, Roadster and later derivatives extended the Huayra line, but their production runs, structures and market levels are distinct. A valuation must begin by identifying the exact branch.
