Phantom

The eighth Phantom generation

Phantom VIII introduced the aluminium Architecture of Luxury behind the Goodwood range and Boat Tail. For collectors, wheelbase, commissioned Gallery, material choices and factory file separate one Phantom from another.

Overview

The first Phantom designed around a shared Rolls-Royce architecture.

Rolls-Royce presented Phantom VIII in 2017 as the replacement for the 2003 Phantom VII. Its aluminium spaceframe was engineered as a Rolls-Royce-only architecture rather than a structure confined to one model.

The Gallery made personalisation structural to the dashboard: artwork sits behind uninterrupted glass across the fascia. Standard and Extended bodies address owner-driver and chauffeur use without changing the 6.75-litre twin-turbo V12.

Series II arrived in 2022 with restrained exterior and connected-service changes. Production totals remain undisclosed, and the model is still in series production.

What moves the price

Two F40s can be indistinguishable in a photograph and a million apart at the hammer: the difference is never in the paint. Build the file below and watch the band move.
