The production number matched the total F1 series at 106, while the central driving position made the connection explicit. Rob Melville's design team reduced cut lines and stretched the body to 5.14 metres. The hybrid system was calibrated for continuous acceleration rather than the P1's circuit use, reaching 300 km/h in a claimed 12.8 seconds. Production began in the first quarter of 2020.
