## The price and the proof

Indicative road-car band $2.5M–$3.5M. Modeled values are not observed sales. Nothing here is investment advice.

Confidence: estimate. No documented public auction sale from the preferred houses was found. The estimate rests on the database's existing $3.0M reference, the 15-car count and the market level of adjacent MSO and Ultimate Series cars; individual specifications may sit outside it.

USD editorial estimate for a documented, low-mile car in original MSO specification.

Asking prices and private-sale reports were excluded because they do not establish a realized result.

## A dealer-led commission for fifteen clients

The Sabre began as a bespoke commission involving McLaren Beverly Hills and McLaren Special Operations. Its 15 buyers took part in development activities in California before their cars were completed.

The first delivery was announced in December 2020, while the cars are catalogued as 2021 models. All were built to US federal specification and finished individually through MSO.

Unlike a regular Ultimate Series launch, McLaren issued no complete public technical pack. The confirmed record is narrow: 824 bhp, 800 Nm, a claimed 351 km/h and 15 cars.

| Highlight | Detail |
| --- | --- |
| One federal rulebook | MSO engineered the Sabre only to US requirements. McLaren said this allowed solutions that a global homologation programme would not accept, without publishing a list of those differences. |
| Owners joined development | The 15 customers were brought into the programme before delivery and participated in track sessions at the Thermal Club. Every car then received an individual MSO specification. |
| The data sheet is short | McLaren released power, torque, top speed and production count, but no conventional full specification. Unpublished dimensions or performance claims should not be inferred from the related Senna. |

| Label | Value |
| --- | --- |
| Power | 824 bhp |
| Top speed | 351 km/h |
| Built | 15 |
| Market | US only |
