Removing road-homologation constraints allowed a single-seat cockpit, composite body, closed underfloor, large diffuser and adjustable rear wing. The powertrain kept the Nettuno V6's 2'992 cc capacity and pre-chamber combustion but gained new turbochargers, a race exhaust and a six-speed sequential transaxle. Maserati published 730 hp, 730 Nm and an approximate 1'300 kg dry weight. Andrea Bertolini drove the development car at Varano de' Melegari in early 2024.
