The Reventón turned the Murciélago into Lamborghini's first numbered, seven-figure design series. Twenty coupés arrived first, all in the same matte grey; fifteen roadsters followed with the LP 670-4 SV engine.

## The first modern few-off Lamborghini

Lamborghini unveiled the Reventón coupé at Frankfurt in 2007. The in-house Centro Stile team used military aircraft as a working reference, then applied the new surfaces to the established Murciélago package.

Twenty customer coupés were built. Their numbered identity, uniform paint and price above $1'000'000 separated the project from ordinary limited editions.

The roadster followed at Frankfurt in 2009. Fifteen were made with the stronger SV-derived engine. The programme established the format Lamborghini later reused for low-volume V12 design series.

The uniform colour makes condition easy to compare and difficult to correct invisibly. Original matte paint, the numbered shoulder bag, key case, cover and manuals all affect how complete a surviving car feels. |
| A body, not a new platform | Under the carbon-fibre surfaces sits the Murciélago's steel-tube structure, 6.5-litre V12 and four-wheel drive. The difference is the object around them: sharper cooling paths, heatproof LED lamps and three reconfigurable TFT displays. That distinction is central to its value. The Reventón is collected as the design-series template that preceded Sesto Elemento, Veneno and Sián, not as a separate engineering line. |
| The roadster changed the engine | The fifteen open cars use the later LP 670-4 SV-derived V12 at a documented 660 horsepower. Maximum speed falls to 330 km/h; the 3.4-second factory sprint remains. Roadster production extends into 2010 even though the variant was unveiled in 2009. The smaller count does not make coupé and roadster results directly interchangeable: body style, tax status and regional registration can dominate an individual transaction. |
