Christian von Koenigsegg named it for his father, Jesko von Koenigsegg, who had backed the company during its early years. Pre-series production began in 2021. The silver-and-green Attack specification retained the active wing and full aero package; the separate Absolut specification removed drag-producing surfaces for straight-line work. In August 2024, factory test driver Markus Lundh recorded a 1:24.86 lap at Laguna Seca in a Jesko Attack.
