# Gemera

Four seats, V8 hybrid

The production Gemera fits four seats around a 2'300 hp hybrid system. Unlike the 2020 three-cylinder concept, the client car uses a 5.0-litre hot-V V8, one Dark Matter motor and a 9-speed transmission.

## The price and the proof

Indicative road-car band $2.3M–$3.5M. Modeled values are not observed sales. Nothing here is investment advice.

Confidence: estimate. Editorial estimate anchored to the existing catalogue value, the announced 300-car run and the materially revised HV8 client specification. Production only began in 2026 and no documented public auction sale was found.

The 2020 three-cylinder concept and 2023 HV8 client specification are not equivalent comparables; configuration and delivery status dominate early asking prices.

## A production car changed underneath its show-car shape

Koenigsegg revealed the Gemera in March 2020 as its first four-seater and announced a 300-car edition. That version used the Tiny Friendly Giant three-cylinder, three electric motors and Koenigsegg Direct Drive; the factory marked its figures provisional.

The July 2023 client specification replaced Direct Drive with the Light Speed Tourbillon Transmission and introduced a single 800 hp Dark Matter motor. The compact gearbox also made room for the 1'500 hp hot-V derivative of the Jesko engine.

Koenigsegg's 2024 annual report moved the delivery ambition to the first quarter of 2026. Production began in 2026, six years after the reveal; the announced series remains 300 cars.

| Highlight | Detail |
| --- | --- |
| The concept engine did not survive | The 2020 show car paired a 2.0-litre three-cylinder with three electric motors for a claimed 1'700 hp. The client-specification car announced in 2023 replaced that layout with the 5.0-litre HV8, one Dark Matter motor and the LSTT. |
| One motor, four driven wheels | Dark Matter produces 800 hp and 1'250 Nm from a 39-kilogram six-phase unit. With the 9-speed LSTT, the system provides all-wheel drive and four-wheel torque vectoring without the concept car's three-motor layout. |
| Rear seats without half-doors | Each Autoskin door clears both rows and the carbon tub has no B-pillars. The rear occupants get the same seat size as the front, while 200 litres of luggage space remain available. |
