The execution

The Group B road car: 272 built, all production examples Rosso Corsa, and no competition start to turn homologation intent into a race record.

Ferrari planned 200 cars for Group B homologation and says every one was sold before the March 1984 Geneva reveal; the additional 72 also found buyers quickly. The 1984–1987 date is the broad market convention, not a claim of continuous assembly through 1987.
