## A French name, rebuilt outside Modena

Romano Artioli acquired the Bugatti name rights in 1987 and built a new factory at Campogalliano. The EB110 was unveiled in Paris on Ettore Bugatti's 110th birthday, which supplied both letters and number for the name.

The car combined a carbon monocoque, quad-turbo V12, six-speed manual and permanent four-wheel drive. A lighter Super Sport followed, lifting output from 560 to 610 PS and setting a 351 km/h production-car speed record.

The company entered bankruptcy in 1995 after 139 cars. That short run makes variant, completion date, engine identity and subsequent factory or specialist work central to valuation.
