Each of the 77 cars costs €1 million before tax. 2026– · 77 cars · Bottrop, Germany ## From a sentence the founder kept repeating to a 77-car series Bodo Buschmann built Brabus from a Bottrop law student's side venture into the world's largest independent automobile refiner — and a registered vehicle manufacturer in Germany. One project stayed unfinished when he died in April 2018: the large Gran Turismo he had described for years. Under his son Constantin, the company developed it around a hand-built 5.2-litre V12 biturbo — 1,000 hp, 1,200 Nm, 360 km/h — clothed in a full carbon 2+2 body. The finished car premiered as the Brabus Bodo on 16 May 2026 at FuoriConcorso on Lake Como, priced at €1 million export before VAT and limited to 77 cars — one for each year since 1977 — built to order in Bottrop at ten to fifteen a year. Attitude-forward, high-class, unapologetic — powerful and undeniably BRABUS. > > > > Bodo Buschmann's brief, as remembered in Bottrop ### Twelve cylinders, two turbochargers, one thousand The engineering The Bodo's 5.2-litre V12 is hand-built around two specially developed turbochargers: 735 kW at 6,400 rpm, with the full 1,200 newton-metres held from 2,900 to 5,000 rpm. An eight-speed torque-converter automatic with carbon paddles sends everything to the rear axle through an electronic differential that locks to 100 per cent. The body is carbon fibre over a 5.06-metre footprint just 1.30 metres tall, and the dry weight is 1,774 kg. By midsummer the launch car was photographed above Monaco at dusk, taillights spelling the company name across the tail.
