# Victor

One chassis, three programmes

Victor is a single client commission based on a One-77 carbon tub, Cosworth-reworked V12 and Vulcan chassis hardware. Its six-speed manual defines it: no other road-going Aston combines this output, gearbox and factory one-off identity.

## The price and the proof

Indicative road-car band $2.5M–$4.5M. Modeled values are not observed sales. Nothing here is investment advice.

Confidence: estimate. No documented public sale was found. The band rests on One-77 transactions, the cost and rarity of factory Q commissions, and Victor's unique manual drivetrain; it is not a transaction record for this chassis.

One car exists. A negotiated private transfer could fall outside any comparable-derived range.

## Q Commission turned a development chassis into a one-off road car.

A private client asked Q by Aston Martin for an analogue car using the company's modern carbon architecture. The programme started with a One-77 prototype chassis rather than a current series-production shell.

Cosworth stripped and rebuilt the 7.3-litre V12, lifting output to 836 bhp and 821 Nm. Vulcan-derived inboard suspension and carbon-ceramic brakes gave the road car hardware developed for track use.

Aston Martin revealed Victor at Hampton Court in September 2020. Because one car exists and no verified public transfer has been published, its value remains a comparable-based judgement rather than an observable market.

| Highlight | Detail |
| --- | --- |
| The gearbox changed the car | The One-77 used an automated transaxle. Victor replaces it with a six-speed Graziano manual and a twin-plate clutch, making 836 bhp a three-pedal proposition. The result required more than a lever and pedal: torque delivery, cooling and rear structure were engineered around a transmission Aston Martin had never paired with this engine output. |
| A parts book with provenance | The carbon tub and V12 began with One-77. Suspension hardware came from Vulcan, while lighting and aerodynamic methods drew on Valkyrie. Those components were not assembled as a replica. Q by Aston Martin designed a new carbon body and road-legal package for one client. |
| Named for Victor Gauntlett | The shape points to the V8 Vantage and RHAM/1 racer built during Victor Gauntlett's period leading Aston Martin. The name makes that reference explicit. Pentland Green paint, a long bonnet, a blunt grille and a cut tail carry the 1970s reference without using period panels. |

## What moves the price

Spans are indicative, drawn from documented public sales. Calibrated multipliers for a specific chassis remain member instruments.

| Value driver | Indicative range | Meaning | Documentary evidence |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Factory one-off identity | +40% to +100% | The complete Q Commission file is the asset; a component-by-component comparison cannot reproduce it. | Q Commission documentation and continuous title history. |
| Public history | +5% to +20% | Concours appearances and factory support strengthen a one-off whose market cannot be triangulated from repeat sales. | Event records, service history and factory correspondence. |
